My westie has got terrible skin probs and has been on and off steroids for quite some time. last visit to the vet we got a ‘lampshade’ to put round his neck to stop his licking his sore bits and in between his toes. My dad told me to take it off and let him lick as it is a way he tries to heal himself. Is this true or should i keep it on? I try not to give him steroids all the time as they make him fat and sad!!!
