Can you get scabies from touching door knob?

I know this is a silly question. Can a person get scabies from touching door knob and other furniture?

    Not from just touching a door knob.

    You can get it from furniture, bedding, clothing ect.
    The lice can live off of the body for a while and prefer fabric. That’s why lice spreads so quickly in schools…kids hang their hats and coats nest to each other and the lice can travel from one to the other. Then the kids put their coats on to go outside or home and now they are infested.
