I am wondering if the bugs can be living in my clothes, or furniture.

Yes they can live in your clothes and furniture ( less likely on general furniture). You don’t generally feel scabies jump though – it may be your imagination or some other creature doing the jumping. Wash all your clothing and bedding in hot water or at least put through the dryer. If that isn’t possible wrap them tightly in a sealed plastic bag and leave them in a warm place for a week. Give your mattress a good ironing too – the heat will kill the scabies mites. Do the same if you think they may be on your other furniture. Use the cream again just to be sure too.
